About
Imma's professional goal is to create products that automate and transform critical business processes thus eliminating performance bottlenecks for organisations, teams, and individuals.
Imma's Journey
Imma has been working in the tech industry since 2016. She has 8+ years of experience delivering greenfield and brownfield data-driven products. In her career, she has been responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and for leading global product delivery teams to ship products on-time while fostering collaboration across cultures to ensure scalable business outcomes. Her key strength as a product manager lies in her ability to create scalable products and in using data to enhance customer centricity in product delivery thus ensuring customer retention.
To date, she has worked with both SaaS and on-premise B2B and B2G solutions and has delivered products at companies of all sizes and locations from start-ups in the Alps to Fortune 500 companies in Illinois. She is also an avid public speaker having previously hosted a workshop on Scaling Sustainable Mobility at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship in Munich and been part of a panel interview at Google's Unstoppable Women Summit in Berlin.

Currently based in Munich, Germany, she was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and grew up in both Tanzania and Austria. She then spent two years in Switzerland, which is where she graduated from high school in 2012. After high school, Imma moved to Germany and enrolled at Constructor University (previously known as Jacobs University Bremen) where she majored in Industrial Engineering with a focus on International Logistics. Both in high school and college, she was surrounded by over 100 different nationalities and learnt to be an effective intercultural communicator. In 2024, she completed her part-time MBA in General Management at the Munich Business School. She has also attended executive education courses at Stellenbosch Business School in Cape Town, South Africa and Keio Business School in Tokyo, Japan.
Besides tech, Imma is passionate about sports, education, and about enhancing intercultural awareness and diversity. She was a professional rower in college for a little over 2 years, hiked to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in 4.5 days, and in a few months, will become a certified Yoga teacher. She is also a book nerd who enjoys to travel because she believes that exposure is the best teacher and wants to learn from as many diverse perspectives as possible.
